Yes pretty much done with adding mods to the car
I could change the bimmer life coil pack to something else, or upgrade the KW3s to a full race spec coilover etc, but tbh its just pouring more $ into the car for minimal gain

Im very happy with the current set up, goes quick, pulls up quick and handles pretty good in the twisties, so any mod I can add from here wont make a huge difference (except maybe port injection )

That said there is still heaps I need to do, (SQ audio tune, aircon lines, reprogram adaptive steering etc etc) so will still be working on Gary for a long while yet
I agree with your statement about pouring more $ into the car for minimal gain. My car is 15 yrs old in Sept and I have owned it for the last 11 yrs. It has been a great experience modifying it and getting the performance I have achieved and still love driving it but to go any further will cost a heap of $ which I frankly cannot justify. I would need for reliability, not performance, a built engine which from Ghassan (G800) would cost $14,000A which includes $1,000 freight and $2,000 import duties & GST. Also, I would need a custom exhaust to reduce back pressure - twin 3", another $2-3,000. Practically, I don't need the 335i anymore as I have a Audi S3 which has only done 22,000kms in 3.5 yrs so I am thinking of selling the beemer which will save me annualy $2,000 in rego and assurance alone.

Completely understand Coupes

If you are thinking of selling, now is a good time with people paying crazy prices. Might even make more money by parting out

That said i'd be devo if you sold up mate

Thanks fellows. It would be better to sell the car as a complete unit with all of the mods but may not be so easy. I am considering part out as I still have my original turbos, IC, etc. I may wait for a couple of months and give it a final run at Willowbank Raceway in the cooler weather before parting with it.

No chance of that Socks. I am running on 98 now. A low 11s run would be good.

On 98, it is 11.470s but I have a new custom tune from Wedge Performance which I haven't tried as yet. Hopefully, it may get me down a bit lower. On 100% E85, my best time was 10.775s.

Gary when in for a detail and ceramic coat yesterday. Was well looked after by Ryan from Mryzing Details. Apparently the coating needs to cure for a few days, didn't stop me from taking a drive and snapping a few pics

Looking smooth Sock! Love those AFF1's. I just got set from euro division. Perfect for that oem+ look imo, and light weight too

Those wheels really make your car look so great Socks. Out of all the sets of wheels you have, my vote is for these GTC rims. They suit the colour of the car perfectly. I my be a bit biased towards the colour, of course.
