I'm 99% positive they were real. They had the right concavity and little "blip" at the top. I run VRMs, and spent way too much time analzying the "accuracy" of knockoffs.

That said, I could be wrong. They were definitely 19s, and it was a real M3.

I thought they would fit with spacers on a regular e92. Maybe I'm confusing that bit with the ZSPs?

Either way, I wanted to bang the car right there on the sidewalk. Class A car pr0n

I could be wrong, but I don't think they send anything for year 3.

Detailed the E90 today. It was dirtier than I've ever let any of my cars get - just been too busy lately, and only did the occasional touchless wash all winter. I only did the interior, stripped the paint, and put a quick coat of wax. That will last until May when I have more time to do a full detail.

Going to put the summer wheels on tomorrow too.

Yeah, 1 year gift is a printed sketch of the concept E9x (depends on which model you bought). The E90 version looks like this:

With all the time I've spent around BMW forums, I still can't figure out the logic of when/how/why some people get gifts and others don't (even within my own family). The gifts come from BMWNA, so I don't think it's related to the dealer.

The carbon fibre one? I love mine!

I did a exterior detail ysterdayt. stripped paint, cleaner wax, etc. I'll do a finish wax coat with Gold Class either this afternoon or next weekend. I still had some of my winter wax on the car, which was suprising. I think the mother's cleaner wax (paste) really sticks to the car.

Summer setup gets installed this week. Very excited. Desperately need an interior cleaning.

I live in Chesapeake VA, I'm in the coast guard so I travel around every few years. Nothing compares to New England though.

I'm pursuing NoVA/DC, because it's the job mecca for my education/experience/industry, etc.
I like living in NH for the mountains, skiing, coast, Boston, etc., but Nashua is pretty lame and I dislike my role at work. So I'm getting out without having to repay my M.S. tuition reimbursement.
