I have settled on the CH's, but have been going back and forth on 18 vs 19. Any chance you would mind posting a few more higher res pics? I am worried the 18s will look a little small, but don't want the extra weight of the 19s. I was leaning towards 19s, but after seeing your 18s I am not so sure. Thanks in advance. |

Sorry, this may be the wrong thread for this, but there doesn't seem to be another thread with as many people posting e90 pics w/ rims. Looking for an opinion on which wheel do you think looks better on a sparking graphite e90 sedan. Currently non-sport suspension but will consider installing eibach pro kit springs for a slight drop. 19'' Concept One C-10's or 19'' VMR 701's. The Concept One's are Photoshoped on if you can't tell already with my shotty skills, so the lighting of the wheels will be off.

VMR's look beter IMO...
A wheel with anthracite gray/polished would look great also. I'm not a big fan of wheels (or any trim for that matter) with ANY chrome at all on the new cars - chrome on cars kinda went out of style in the 70's Another wheel decision maker for me that is mostly overlooked, is the ease of cleaning. The factory pads on our cars dust worse than any I have ever seen in my 34 yrs of driving. To clean my stock 157's was a major PITA due to the light silver color and the fact that the dished/stepped portion of the rim is behind the spokes - making it very hard to clean visible rim behind the spokes. And 2 days after you spend time cleaning - they look just as black again So for my new wheels I went with the Performance 313 reps from MiRo, nice gray/polished combo. The anthracite gray barrel hides the brakes dust better and no nooks and crannies to try and clean - mostly wide open spaces Plus I had my calipers/hardware/rotor hubs all powdercoated black/silver - so a open style wheel basically shows them off better. If I still had the original rusty calipers/rotors I would choose something to hide them better

Great thread!!!
New to the forum. Although my car hibernates in the winter. It can be rough here in these Ohio streets(potholes)Definitely gonna do the wheels. But I'm little hesitant on a drop. Even questioning 19 " wheels. Used to have an Audi A6 with stock 16" wheels. Upgraded to 18" and bent two wheels in two years. Dont know what I wanna do. We all know the drop looks best. I guess if I lived in a state with smoother streets, I would go with 19 or possibly 20 with a drop. Any suggestions out there? Btw stock no sport package suspension with 17" run flats. |
