good for light snow, great in the rain, dry traction above average, very quiet tire. Probably will get louder with 10-15k miles on them, but these are quiet as a mouse compared to the extreme summer Dunlop Direzza Z1's I came from.

soft sidewall = below-average handling tire. Not a big deal for me since I don't take twisties nor care about road course. Straight line acceleration ftw

These tires also weigh 4lbs less in the rear and 3lbs less in the front compared to rfts. So i lost about 15% unsprung weight per corner!
Sounds about right on the handling part. Of course though, this we should all know going with an A/S tire.

I found that increasing pressure by about 3 psi all around helps tighten up the steering feel. With 10k miles on my 128i, the DWS tires are still performing beautifully - very comfy ride, good handling, excellent dry/wet traction and still very quiet. And with 8/32" tread remaining on the rears, that should equate to a total of around 40,000 miles before they will need replacing.

Good review, I just picked up a set for my wifes LM Reps. I can't wait to get rid of the runflats.

Do you run these in summer as well or do you use them for Spring, Fall and Winter? What pressure do you run?

I just ordered a set 225/35/19 and 265/30/19 to go on OEM 230's I should have them on this weekend!

And then

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3yqnm...ailpage#t=756s

DWS in about 50F. Works fine enough for my needs, since this kind of driving is about what I'd do anyways. Also worked great for that couple days of snow we got, great on fresh powder and ok on slush; even had to emergency-brake for a pedestrian on powder / slush and the wheels didn't even lock up.

Once the slush is packed down into ice then I had a bit of trouble getting going, but just had to be careful with the throttle and it was fine.

Im going to get these as my next set probably this summer or next year, depends on how my rear tires I have now last me. Im going 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 for my style 230's as well. Im hoping these are a little 'fatter' then my current tire which doesnt protect the rims from curbing at all.

I may even replace them sooner if my current tires get too noisy.

I'm currently using these. I picked them up in December and went through all the snow storms this year with these tires. Albeit, I didn't take the car out when it was 20+ inches of snow, but I wouldn't have driven out in ANY car or tire to boot. That being said, i'm pretty impressed with the way these held up in my on my rwd 335i. I'm definitely a fan and will probably pick up another set after my current tires have fully worn (hopefully that won't be for 40k miles or so!)

Ok so where can these be purchased? This size (235/35/19) doesn't seem to exist!
