Warranty Question
Just wondering how many people have lowered their cars and have taken out the BMW warranty?
I have the BMW warranty with Mondial but my car really needs lowering the front is shocking for an m-sport but don't want it to effect my warranty if i have to claim. |

6. This BMW Insured Warranty will not cover: an insured vehicle that has been subject to alterations, has had experimental equipment fitted or has in any way been modified from BMW’s approved specification, The insured warranty is more stringent than the manufacturers warrany,in as much as the original warranty would only preclude anything that might be affected by modifications, and not void the whole warranty. The Insured warranty rules out ANY mods entirely, and leaves little room for negotiation. Edit: Uploaded PDF of T&C's

I think keep your warranty valid must take precedence over the exterior look of your car?
Surely your car having the "stance" you like is not more important than knowing when you have a fault with the car you can just drop it in and have it repaired and possibly not pay more than your excess. (Provided the failed part is covered of course) Personally I would not want to risk it. Sure they may not check/notice, but if they do its just going to mean they have a get out clause. |

I have Eibach prokit and never had any problems claiming on my BMW warranty. I don't think they would notice it. If the car was 'slammed' then it would be more obvious.
I've never had to claim anything suspension related. |
