E70 X5 35d Intercooler

Has anyone released one yet?

I'm at the point of buying a generic one and making it fit.

A charge pipe would also be nice

Looks nice. Atm is not cheap but they make good stuff. It will be interesting to see the price given the limited market. I bet above 800...

$800?? Man..if that’s the case that’s way to much for a few horses.

FMIC upgrades make engines way happier overall. They are not just for power gains but of course that's an added benefit of better cooling. $800 dollars for an aftermarket FMIC for an X5d seems very reasonably priced as ATM produces quality aftermarket parts for the D platform. I would have purchased the ATM FMIC for my car but i got a Wagner at a price i could not refuse.

Nice. I'm super concerned about boost leaks again. You think those silicone connectors will hold?

They will hold fine with quality clamps. He has no clamps on in that picture obviously.

These are some good quality clamps: http://www.murraycorp.com/clamp/cons...ling-clamp-db/

The cheap clamps work but are more prone to leaks.

I am not at all concerned with boost leaks using silicone connectors. The stock boost hose is obviously not good. I have gone through 3 in 125k miles. No more!

That being said, I am not done yet. The entire charge pipe will be replaced.

Exactly, I'll be using T-Bolt Clamps.

I like T bolt clamps myself and never had issues with them...

I've got it installed now. I am going to test it for a few weeks and collect some data/logs. Once I feel that it is operating as desired I will release more info.

Very little trimming to be honest. Downside is the install is not too fun (just because of everything going on in the intercooler area on the X5).

No pricing yet but it will be worth the wait!
