The bleeders can be relocated if you dare. There is a allen head screw plug on the bottom.

True but still the line will be pointing down and could easily get damaged, like kinked, when wheels turn left-right and go up-down. Unless, another line is installed with an elbow.

Yes from ASV wreckers in SYDNEY. Paid much more than I should have but a lot less than buying new here and overseas!!

Talking to a shop in Russia about making brackets to do this plug and play. I'll let you all know how it goes. Hopefully they'll join the forum
For those of you familiar with ncat10s car this is that same guy that did some of the pieces on that car

That is fine but it will me the brakes unattractive from price and replacement stand point. Just look at ECS kit. Ridiculously expensive. Few hundred extra for adapter and caliper machining and on top shipping fees to Russia and back. Then what happens if something gets broken or demaged in some way. Is going to be an long and expensive process. Also, what happens if this guy is not longer available. So for me would be no deal from the get go. I would not even consider it. I'm sorry. I'm not trying to be negative. I much rather shop for StopTeCh or something.

Hi guys,

I just picked up my calipers and getting ready to perform a full swap on me 2008 335 E90. I have the F80 fronts and the blue rears. I've done the reading on this swap a couple of times. I thought there was another option on the rear swap. Has anyone on here used the 128 hub swap option on the rear? I am fully prepared to go the 535 rear rotor option, but I didn't see any discussion of using the 128 rear hub rather than machining the calipers? Maybe I was smoking something when I read that earlier but I thought I would attempt to get confirmation before I ordered rotors. Thanks!

So, it turns out that I am looking for a little guidance on these brakes. I am tempted to use the 135 hub approach for my rear brakes detailed around pages 4-5 of this thread. Here is my question, is there a reason to use the 535 rotor and caliper mod approach? I'm running style 343's (M6 20x9.5 with a 35 et). I'm a little worried about rubbing with the hub approach. Any thoughts before I go out and buy rotors an a couple of hubs? Thanks to everyone who reads, particularly Feuer without whom this mods would not be nearly as advanced.

I see you have 328xi that unless is e91 has smaller rear parking brakes. 535i rotors won't work. Anyhow, why go the more difficult and more expensive route? 535i rotors require less material to be shaved from the calipers. Hub route will be equal as running 27et wheels which could be a problem.

Feuer,

Sorry, I should have said something. The 328xi is gone. I now have a 2008 335xi. You really think the 535 route is less work? With the 535 non OEM rotors can I get an accurate depth that I have to shave from the caliper? It seemed there was some confusion as to the actual number. Of course, on the other hand I could be the one that is confused.

I was able to pick up a set of grey front Brembo's from a 435i along with f30 rotors. I also got 135 rear calipers on the way along with f10 535i rotors for the rear. I am going to get them powdercoated yellow as I think it will look great against the alpine white. I will be putting SS brake lines on as well. Hopefully everything goes on without any issues!

Yes, is been confirmed. Accurate measurements won't exist as rotors and calipers will vary slightly. OEM and aftermarket rotors will be different height. Decide what you want, measure and mill. Easy enough.
