I received my new set of 275/40 R17 Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials on Thursday so I thought I would have a look at how they compared with the 255/30 ZR19 Michelin PSS for width and diameter from a physical point of view. The Mickey Thompson Radials are 26" in diameter compared to 25.1" for the PSS and about 1" wider (285mm to 260mm). The 275 M/T are 0.36" smaller in diameter than the 245s that I previously had which should help at the drags. The width may reduce slightly when they are installed on the 9" rims as the tyre beads are 9.5" apart currently.

Awesome! You've got a higher stall RPM torque converter yeah? That in conjunction with the upcoming TCU flashes and those tyres is gonna haul ass down the strip!

Yes, I have a 3,000rpm stall torque converter and have installed a Fuel-it PI and Stage 3 LPFP a couple of months ago. I have just completed the final tweaks to a 100% E85 custom tune from BQ Tuning. The boost for this tune is set at 22psi max. Once the weather cools off, I will give it a run at the drags. I had to get larger tyres as I was spinning the 245/40 18 M/T drag radials with the current mods and tune. After I try this tune, I will get another with the boost max set at 25psi. Hopefully, I can improve on the 11.28s run the car did on the PTF E60 tune.

I bagged a bargain today. MY10.5+ shift paddles. Better looking and upshift right/downshift left rather than the silly both sides the same with press to downshift.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/262864888307

Around AU$110. Usually about AU$600.

Turns out the seller automatically re-listed another set so more are available. Seems a little suss but can't go wrong with PayPal!

FYI the cutouts in the steering wheel are different and won't fit right in your wheel

I thoroughly cross-referenced in RealOEM and these ones should fit straight on to my car. I already have an E90 LCI and these are just a later year of E90 LCI paddles. The steering wheel between my car and the later year car that has these paddles is exactly the same part number.

Took a punt and bought a carbon fibre v style lip for my bumper from the US. Fitment I'd say was about 95% perfect. Am happy with the end result

Haha, the front alignment is perfect, just the two end were about 2mm short. I know I'm being picky lol

Ah yep my mistake, I was thinking of the M3 paddles which don't fit right and require a bit of stuffing around to fit in the cutouts

Thanks Shane - yeh I reckon the v style lip looks great on the e9X series M3 bumpers. The only thing you have to be careful with is that you buy a lip that is stated to fit a M3 replica bumper. The v lip for an eom m3 bumper won't fit our rep bumpers.

I found these guys on ebay called "europarts autostore" and the lip was $560 AUD delivered in 7 days. Below is the link

Yup thats what makes it so difficult to find a good front lip spoiler for the M3 replica bumper.

Sockets lip looks great, I ideally want a GTS style lip

I may just buy the vorsteiner replica yet
