Question HID angle eye problem

I just recently installed hid for my ae and it seems that when ever I start the car, it's either the left or right light, or both won't come on but only after I drive awhile and restart the car then both seem to work. Im not sure if it has anything to do with the weather that causes it to do that. Could coding the lights be a possible solution? I guess in bypass the light check or something of that nature? If so, could it be done remotely? I'm stationed in Germany, and trying to translating my problem and a possible solution is frustrating. Thanks

You need to disabled bulb check and increase voltage on AE to 13volts.
This still never worked 100% on my 08 though
I'd advise against it though as they can make the rings turn yellow from the heat after a while.
These new 40w 8led Cree angel eye bulbs are a lot better then what was out a year ago and are pretty bright and hassle free.
These are brighter then lux v3

Ok, I've tried the lux 5.0 version with the color change option, after one of my HID ballast blew, and I wasn't impressed with the light output, compared to HIDs. So I switched back to the HIDs shortly after. I never had any problems during the warmer seasons, but since winter came that's when everything started happening.

yea they are basically lux V4 without color changing option.
I had those ebay bulbs but switched to Dtec color changers but on the x5 the ring design isnt built for color changers (front of housing is open to front of the headlight so you see the 1 blue bulb front he front), now i just run the color changing dtec at full white and they are the same as the ebay non color change in that mode.

I finally found the thread I was looking for! Now I just have to figure out which cable and software I would need to make it happen.
