Advantage Bmw MidTown

So these Bastards charged me 90.82 for a box of 7 Quarts of Oil and an Oil filter . I was a fool for paying it when i could've just order it from FCP Euro and just paid 72$ but it would've took too long for shipping . Any thoughts on this OutRageous price guys ?

You are surprised that BMW dealerships charge alot ? lol

I was charged 130 dollars to remove 4 lug nuts with a special key that they have because i lost mine. They had the key ready it took the 5 minutes..

AVOID big time.

Those are called wheel locks...you could've purchased a replacement key on eBay or hammer on a bolt extractor socket and taken it off.

Yes i have since used only normal bolts that dont need a special key i find that stuff useless. In Canada stealing ur rims (mine are not special) is unheard of honestly. So i could care less. I just wanted them removed so i dont have to EVER use them, Just a headache. Not to mention what is insurance for..

LOL - you think an $18 premium over online is outrageous? Wow, are you in for disappointment in life. Also - why would you buy oil from a dealership?

Hmm - I lost my lugnut key - went to the dealer, they let me borrow theirs to take my lock nuts off and then traded me some brand new standard lug nuts for the locking ones on my car for free - didn't need them anyway.

That’s about the same price my local dealers charge for oil changes under their ‘Value Service’ advertisement.

Also that oil price is fair as I remember back in the day in NJ Prestige BMW was charging $225 for e36 oil changes

You could have paid 9 dollars more and they would have changed it for you and given you a loaner

That is funny because I lost mine and when I went to the dealership to get a new they have to take it to the garage and try different keys if you don't know which one you lost. I asked are you going to charge me? They said of course not but I guess I was right to ask because they charged you 130 dollars

What rip off oil do you use. You can do a mobile one oil change for about 50 bucks with filter.

Did they at least give you the key? I am trying to figure how they charged 130 on the bill. Half hour of labor and 60 bucks for the key?

3000 mile changes on modern synthetic oil??

At least assuming you aren't only doing 3K a year.
