IBS issue or what?

My 2008 328i e92 feels like is loosing power while its off. I have replaced the battery. I drive short trips almost daily.(10-15min)

The symptoms are:
- when I unlock the car, the welcome lights dont turn on ( only after a long drive )
- time falls behind constantly
- if I have the key in the ignition with the engine off but I want to listen to the music, the battery icon shows after few min and then turns off.

Is this a IBS cable issue?

Thank you very much for your time.

You should consider getting a battery tender such as a
Ctek 4.3 or better and using if for a long slow charge
a couple of times a month.

How long ago did you replace the battery?
Did you replace it with one that had a higher or equal
amp hour rating?
Was it the same type of battery (lead acid or AGM)?
If you replace the battery with the same spec battery you should
register it .
If you changed battery types the car has to be reprogrammed
for that type and capacity.

More likely the IBS is doing what it's suppose to do.

You need to drive it more, or keep the car on a battery tender. E9X's are electrical hogs. 10 - 15 minutes of drive time is not enough to keep the battery charged up when the sitting time is added in.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
