I'm sure anybody will have a hard time convincing me NOT to get the extended warranty. Closing in at 40k with a fresh oil change and it still runs like a champ but I'm not putting my guard down just yet.

45,027 this am, damn light came on this AM......... pick your poison. Mind you, mine never saw much, if any traffic at all. Most of these miles are long(er) trips, talking 225 miles one-way.

Im at 41k and man have I thought of the extended warranty but with the mods Im going to do it will detract from getting the issues we get, I hv never gotten an extended warranty in over 35 years and I wont either, but, because of the issues of the EGR/DPF it will make me go the ilegal way it wont be counter productive for me.

There isn't anything so far to suggest there is a problem with DPF.
