only turbo timer I have is the butt in seat version. I always felt that stock turbo cars should at least have a programmable option for turbo timer. Especially in newer cars where you can edit a lot of options right in the Nav screen, a category for turbo timer shouldnt be that tough

the car has it built in, thats why you hear all the funky noises sometimes after your car is off.

kind of ironic for you to say when you obviously havent done that yourself. The oil pump is mechanical and the engine shuts down right when the push button is pressed, so what are you figuring takes on the function of a turbo timer?

Ya hooper I agree, they should have one built in, I live at the top of a big hill so when I park my EGTs are in the high 500s to low 600s depending on the day. I've let it run and watched it drop on my torque app but it takes about 5 min to drop to about 450, once again depends on how hot it is outside. And I've left it running a few times and forgot it was on.
Racetruk, I did search but nothing about turbo timers came up. Also a turbo timer allows the turbos to cool before u shut off the car, once u shut it off all the oil in the turbos take all the heat that is in the turbos, which can be very hot. Look up YouTube videos of dynoing turbo motors and see how hot they get, red hot
