Is there anyone local to central Maryland who can help me. I got the warning for my drl being out. I watched some YouTube videos and read stuff on the forum. I thought I was ready. Long story short...I got access to the bulb from the top of the headlight assembly, changed the bulb and now cannot get it back in place. It's a very cramped compartment. Please help.

It was a huge pain in the ass when I put in my LED bulbs. I don't have huge hands but I don't have small ones either and it took me an hour to swap the light bulbs out, but I assumed that was because the LED bulbs were much longer and hard to fit in the housing.

If I recall correctly, I let the bulb apparatus fall backside down, so that the bulb pointed upward. Then I had to use like pliers or something to pull the bulb apparatus up and into the socket. From there I had to use my off hand to hold it in place and try to twist it to lock into place.

Again it was a lot of luck so it may not work for you but I hope it helps.

Thanks for the reply. It was a pain in the ass, but after about 45 minutes in the parking lot of Advanced Auto...they are in.

Glad to hear you got it worked out, angel eyes are the worst to install, you should code out the DRL!
