Makkan00,

Do you have a guide how you did this? I'm looking at adding heating and electric to my seats.

Do you do this for people (at a cost obviously)

Whats that?

I'm just wondering if these are going to be a simple swap with everything working, or whether the wires for the elec bolster on the LCI will differ from my pre-lci??

Fitting that to a car which had manual seats was a challenge and I love challenges. Google search revealed that it is possible, however most of the members had some sort of wirings already in their seats. They had to just add K-Can wiring.

Well I bought the seats and started working on it. The parts and the new wirings only cost around £75 which was at the top of the expenses for the leather seats.

So, when it comes to fitting these seats, I had to strip the car including the central arm rest. Stripping that, laying new wires and making sure things worked, took me good 8 hours. I made sure that everything was done properly and no shortcuts!

A photo for reference (Guess what is in the photo)

Next comes coding, which took about 1.5 -2 hours and finally I am happy to say that I have retrofitted full electric heated seats with memory. Everything works and now car is even more pleasure to drive.
Are you able to offer this as a service, if so pm me with price and your availablity.

wanted some heated leather seats fitted into an e92.

My car currently has fully manually adjustable seats they are heated though..if anyone could kindly put me through to someone that does this retrofit or can advise me at all that would be great

Hu everyone, I keep this old thread.
I need an info about coding.
I am going to change electric seats in a e92, to a pair of sports electric seats M sport.
Do you know if coding was necessary or it could leave out?
