Sheared VC bolt

Welp looks like I'm up schitts creek, the front left VC bolt sheared off on me during removal and have had no luck drilling it out and using an extractor kit. The one extractor actually broke off inside so now I'm double eff'd. I live in a small town, would have to call a few places I'm sure to see if anyone can come out.

My question is, has anyone been in the same situation and used a silicone gasket bead to replace a sheared bolt? And did it work ok? I'm out of options I think. TIA

Gasket sealer could work. I would do that and then take to your local machine shop or engine builder.

I'm going to try welding a nut onto the sheared end tomorrow and see if that works. That's another option I've been reading up on. Instead of having to assemble everything and do the job over again.

Make sure you disconnect the battery before welding or you will be even further up schitts creek.
