Swapped out my old PCV vent hose to a new OEM one. Flashed down to V7 from V9 beta

Had a set of Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 installed today. The ride is night and day from the Bridgestone Run flats. The Michelin are quieter, and you don’t feel every pebble on the road. Gives my E90 a more comfortable ride. So far I’m very satisfied. Also had a battery installed, and my passenger side auto dimming/heated mirror replaced. Next is a wash/wax. The weather has been crappy the last few weeks. Rains every other day.
Have to figure out what I’m going to carry in the trunk. A tire plug kit, and compressor. Or a tire mobility kit. Last edited by ny325; 07-17-2020 at 01:33 PM.. |

I just did the opposite! Manual E91s so rare in UK now I had to get one with light grey leather. Skin complaint means I need cloth seats, so swapped the LOT inc. door cards and headliner for black alcantara / cloth. Took me a few days. Looks epic, used the dark wood effect trim.

I've seen a few EU E90/E91s on Facebook groups selling their cloth interiors after doing a leather interior swap. Was going to bid on one but remembered I can be somewhat clumsy when it comes to food and drinks.. Passengers are no exception

Yeah, really nice. Bought the car in London, got the interior in Bradford on the drive home to the Highlands of Scotland. 550 miles, half of it with a car crammed with a second interior including black carpets!
Only paid £1500 for the car with 123k miles and a new MoT, bargain. School run car, now giving it a good service and a few wee upgrades. Selling the E46 touring I've had for the past 7 years to a mate. Also have a Z4 and E30.

Attempting to paint my front lip. It got incredibly windy the moment I went to spray. My luck, it wasn't even a part of the forecast.
Edit: It's done. Looks so much deeper/glossier/darker than the bumper now. Wow do I need a paint correction.

I did not have the heated seat option. The climate control sits virtually flush. See thread here https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1706495 Last edited by scanspeak; 07-17-2020 at 05:59 PM.. |

It's an SE, do you get those in the US (Special Equipment)? Has a lot of upgraded bits and of course a complete sport interior now. Honestly I drove my E46 today and I prefer it. But it's starting to get rusty (road salt) and has 170k. Going to hurt to part with it. E91 feels too modern despite being 15 years old. We'll see how I get on with it. Doing the spark plugs and Valvetronic motor gasket tomorrow. If I keep the car I might put Bilstein B6s on, love them on my E46.

Just found my E91 likely has a clutch delay valve, so that's coming off. Removed it on my Z4 and it made a huge difference to 1st and 2nd gear changes.
