Had my headlights restored for 35 dollars and the place ruined my bumper.

I figured why not try this place because whats the worst they could do. Well, it looks like they did not bother to tape off the headlight. Not sure why you wouldn't spend the two min to do this but they didn't. After I got home and washed off all the solution left around my headlights I noticed a ton of scratches all the way around the headlight. I could live with this because I can just polish it out but it appears they might have taken off my clear coat and paint below the headlight. Whenever I spray the area down and wipe it off after it dries the entire area turns gray. But I dunno maybe it is something that can be corrected without a repaint.

Can you please post some photos of the damage you are describing? It may simply appear grey due to sanding marks if the were sanding your headlights, or as you mentioned, it could very well be that they have burned through your paint and removed the clear coat entirely.

Regardless this shouldn't have happened. Take it back for correction.

Absolutely not. But they need to be aware, as this may have been negligence of one careless employee.

What I meant by taking it back for corrective action, is getting compensation from them to cover the cost of getting this fixed elsewhere.
