Unhappy E90 Post LCI I-Drive Knob Broken

Hey all so I own a e90 2010 320i post lci with a CIC nav system.
A couple of days ago my battery ran out and I got a jump and now the knob doesnt work.
The CIC works perfectly and responds when pressing the numbers and volume and I can still listen to the radio but cannot use the idrive knob to move around or get past the confirm screen.
I've tried looking in the fuses but its pretty confusing the knob doesnt even light up with the car is on so I'm thinking it's a fuse maybe?

So have you changed the battery? Or is it the same old one installed? Duff batteries can bring up all sorts of strange faults on these cars. If that is the case then a new battery will (should) sort it out.

Check fuse #27 behind the glove box, if it's intact then the TLE4262GM power supply chip is likely blown on the controller board itself. I just had the same problem, it's probably prudent to check the CAN wires as well for signal to make sure nothing else is wrong. Dead thread, I know, but I wanted to share my solution

Fixed it by replacing the idrive knob
