"Production" Dates

Ordered my E90 on 10 January and today for the first time my car flipped into production (found out from the 800#). OC is still showing "Scheduled for Production" (I know OC is about 3 days behind the 800#). The production number also turned into a VIN.

My question is - the 800# said my car will be completed on 30 January. Is this information usually correct in your experiences? Seems like my car was "on order" forever.

What I would suggest is that after listening to the recording on the 800 number, you click through to a live person. They will tell you much more about its status i.e in the body shop, in the paint shop, undergoing QC, on its way to the port.

I called every day. My completeion date was accurate right from the start - 1/11.

Production for me took 5 days 1/6 to 1/11. On the boat 1/16.
I ordered on 12/16 so do the math.

My car finished production 2 business days before the 800 number said it would. They told me they would finish production on 12/27. I was finished on 12/22. (Because of holidays, there was only 2 working days in that time period).

Ordered on dec 16th.
The 800# told me it was scheduled to be finished on jan 5th, and it actually finished the 4th.

My production date was 1 day early also. Scheduled for completion on 1/10, but actually completed on 1/9. By 1/12 I was already on a ship... hopefully you have the same luck.

Thanks for all the insight...this is my 3rd 3-series that I've ordered from the factory. The first 2 took about 45 days each, so it looks like I'm batting the same the third time around too.
