Sorry was on vacation! DavE90 I already sent you a private message but I'll say it again so that everyone can see it. Now I'm totally new to ebay and maybe I'm missing something here but with about 2 days left in the bidding I noticed that I have been outbid by someone (can't remember their name) and after everything that's been discussed in this thread I obvioulsy did not pursue those blacklines. So couple of minutes later I went to Morristown BMW and immediately bought their blacklines. Matter of fact I already got them installed on my car. Well couple of days later I check my emal and I notice I have a message saying that I have won DavE90's blacklines.

How could someone bid on something and then disappear without a trace leaving me the "winner." I'm sorry but something is not right here and I'm not buying those blacklines, especially after I bought a set from Morristown. Peace.

It is clearly stated in the Ebay rules that you should not bid nor buy something to replace what you think you didn't win until the end of the auction, because the higher bidder can cancel the bid leaving you as the winner.

You commit to buy an item and now you are backing up!

About the shipping charges: I didn't know how much it was to ship them out, so to protect myself I put $24.95, but those numbers were not hidden, so you should of bid accordingly

I think this ended well. The seller was trying to be greedy an rip people off, the buyer who started by saying he was happy to pay more than the product was worth ended up with buyers remorse. Perfect match!

Dude, you knew the rule. Don't bs about the vacation and ebay outbid. You found out about the Morristown deal after members in here posted it.
Anyway, a negative feedback on a 0-rating ebayer doesn't make any difference. I would put -1 on ITrade in this e90post forum...sometimes, money is not everything. It's about credibility. $20 difference is not killing a person who drives a BMW.

Maybe that isn't true. There was a thread with a guy selling his '06 Cayman S because he needs to buy a house. So the next guy you see driving a porsche is quite possible poor

I commited to buy an item???? I was outbid by someone who later backed out leaving me the winner. How can you back out of your bid???? And if that's true I would have done the same thing. It's not a bs, I was outbid by someone and as soon as I found that out, I went ahead and bought blacklines from Morristown. So it's not about $20 anymore, rather having an extra set of blacklines on my hand that I dont need. Read all the posts before jumping to your own conclusions. Peace.

both dave90 and a_moux should be banned from ebay. seller overcharging for shipping, false advertising. possibly even trying to lessen ebay fees by elevating shipping price to allow for a lower final bid. buyer is just damn ignorant of how ebay works even with their preschool-like tutorials that are in your face when you just start ebay. in the end, they both got what they deserve i guess.
dave90 should just neg him and fill out a nonpaying bidder form. he will still have ebay but will have a hard time being eligible for bidding on anything in the future, which is good. weed out the rats.
