The SQL zip worked fine for me without a password however there is no ODB.INI file in the BIN directory.

Does anyone have it please?

OK I found eventually the ODB.INI file but cannot get this loaded for the life of me, I also cannot see detailed install instructions.

I've downloaded Rheingold, downloaded software to work with .rar files, now what? The download is 517,866KB - sound right? Happy to follow tutorials if there are any good ones you can point me to.

• Unpack Rheingold to C:\Rheingold
• Unpack and copy SQLiteDBs in C:\Rheingold\SQLiteDBs, run RCleanerV4.3.exe from Tools folder.
• Apply ISTA-D Reg Fix for your system (x86 or x64) from Tools folder.
• Run C:\Rheingold\TesterGUI\bin\Release\ISTAGUI.exe (you can create desktop shortcut of ISTAGUI.exe)
• If asked for license, enter it from License.txt file. Enter 1 in ISIS field, ignore error and press ok.
• Launch Rheingold from ISTAGUI.exe

Appreciate your contribution and generosity. I've been trying to download both the Rheingold and BMW Diagnosis folders for the past few weeks as OneDrive keeps throwing server communication error for both these folders. Would need your advice on how to download from OneDrive for these 2 large folders. Thanks.

I appreciate the files and instructions you have provided. However, I may need a little help.

I have downloaded and extracted the 4.13.11 ISTA files, but I've come to a problem running ISTAGUI.exe. I get an error box that just says Failed to start ISTA.

I would appreciate any help anyone could offer, that could get me back on track.

I've installed this on a Windows 7 (64bit) laptop with 4 GB of Ram.
I wasn't able to load the older versions of NET Framework, because Windows will not let you install older versions if you already have newer versions installed.

Run "Event Viewer" then check the logs to get a more detailed idea of why it failed to launch.

Also I found this useful, it installs all the vcredits to date so you know for sure you've installed everything needed

As for net framework if you go to add or remove programs then click "Turn Windows features on or off" which should be on the left side you should be able to tick the box for one or both the net frameworks available. Make sure you've ran windows updates and got your system fully up to date as well
