Broken unknown sensor

So here what I'm dealing with I'm very very new to the community I bought the car couple months back and the reservoir tank (expansion tank) top started leaking today I got the rein replacement and when I was pulling the tank out I snapped this sensor I don't know what it is or how to fix this I really appreciate you guys help and knowledge. happy Thanksgiving! (picture is from a video on YouTube I just circled it )

It's part of the CCV hose, here is the part you need:

the part that broke off is the wire that connects to the ccv, would it bring a new one?

Yes it has the electrical connector attached. If you need the plug and wires (from the vehicle electrical harness) then you'll need to find those somewhere else.

Did you break the part on the intake pipe, the corrugated plastic hose or the actual wires?
