Engine moaning and groaning at 44mph Normal?

Just picked up a 2011 328ix with 58,000 miles. It just seems as if the engine is really laboring at 1500 rpm doing 44 mph. Is it missing a shift point? Since I do a lot of this speed driving it has made me wonder if it's normal. What think you all?

May need some basic maintenance,air/oil filters, plugs coils, injector cleaner at that mileage.....these cars are sensitive to running crappy if not done, also the auto box does feel a bit laggy in general until punched IMO.
