Transmission oil for manual gearbox

Does anyone know what type of oil to use on a 6 speed manual gearbox and how much,since I can't find any official information on it.Car is a 2010 model with an N57 engine.

Probably mtf-lt3, if I remember rightly. Get it from the dealer, or forever chase cold shifting issues etc etc.

E90 run MTF LT-5, I believe. MTF LT-3 is up till the E46's.

E90's use LT-3. E46 use LT-2.

OP, there should be a blue sticker on the transmission that indicates what oil it needs.
