Carly codes help please
Guys,
Last month I bought my first BMW in 40 years of driving. The car is a 2006, 325i auto at 40,450 miles with the M Sport package and after driving it and touring Scotland (2500 miles) I'm very pleased with the car. One issue that I noted when I test drove the car is that the cruise control isn't working. It's the basic cruise not the active version. The stalk is basically doing nothing, no lights on the dash and cruise won't come on. I've purchased a Carly diagnostic and coding tool along with a full subscription for BMW and this morning I've conducted a first check using the OBD interface. After scanning the fault codes, I have a couple that return even after clearing them and I wonder if they might be associated with the cruise control not working. The codes are as follows: 00CF2B 00CDAD 00D35B Carly is informing me that 00D35B is "Very bad" and the other two are not as serious. Any help and or advice will be gratefully received. The car drives and handles really well, |

Sounds like a bad wheel speed sensor which in turn causes the other two problems. If the car can't read your wheel speed then it can't cruise control for you.
