The colour bluewater?
What do you think of it on an m-sport?
The reason I ask is because I have finally found a car which seems to fit the bill and whats more its only 14mths old and only just covered 8k plus the spec is great. The thing I cant decide whether I like or not is the paint colour. Its the aforementioned Bluwater and I am not sure if it looks a bit wishy washy on an m sport. Other than this the car is perfect for me. |

I brought mine this summer... E90 330d spec'd to the eyeballs I was looking for a LeMans Blue, however am now very content with my Bluewater as its a far rarer colour and I think the M-Sport kit sets it off nicely!
Not the best of photos, but still you get the idea... Last edited by AdrianSi; 01-06-2012 at 03:51 PM.. |

Cheers, my worry was that it was too Silver... and im not a fan of Silver. The hint of blue seems to show the accent and swage lines off well. Bluewater being an older colour i think it gives a good balance between looking sporty and almost classic? Mature might be the word lol!
Ive seen a few in the same spec LeMans since and am still glad i chose mine |

I get where you are coming from as its not an obvious M Sport Colour. I first saw Bluewater on a brand new E46 M3 Dealer Demo in early evening light and it looked fanatstic.
Its the kind of colour you see on lots of run of the mill hatchbacks and then turns up on the odd Aston, Jag XK8, Lotus or similar and they just look so good imo. http://images.caradisiac.com/images/...Jag-238085.jpg My Wife's Skoda Yeti is Aqua Blue which is very similar. The colour changes in the light and on summer days it looks light blue and on dull winter days goes to more of a light grey. When we first got it I was not sure (summer very light blue) but have come to really like it and is one of the best colours to hide dirt, marks which is great. My advice is go and view the car with an open mind and see it outside on a clear day and make you decision. I would go for it but I don't have time to keep Black looking good and I think it's a bit more interesting than silver. Interior for me works in either dark, light or red so you can't go wrong. My Dad got one of the first E36 325i Coupe's in 1992 in a very similar colour so its been round for years.

I love it on my E92, it changes so much light dependant...looks at its best on a dull or moist day IMO, in a sunny day it looks very silver.
For some reason I dont think it looks right on anything other than E92's but that's jusy my personal opinion. I also have coral red, and as said before, it sounds odd...but it works

I love Bluewater and when we in to the dealer to spec our E92 330d we both agreed it would be Bluewater................until we came to sign the order form and we both bottled it and settled for Space Grey.
I really do like it but I just couldn't get over the slightly wishy washy/pale look of it and struggled to think what interior colour would match best. And was it really a proper M Sport colour? They are quite rare though but I that's not a bad thing. Every time I see one I do wish we had taken the plunge. If you like it, go for it and sod what anyone else thinks! |

I have seen a few and they are very silvery in bright light but also very changeable depending on light conditions. I too love dark cars and don't mind the hard work maintaining them. I'd hold out for something else mate |

Its an awesome colour - I have it on my 330d SE but it suits the M Sport just as well, if not more!

Go for it Andy.
It's a nice colour (although I don't mind a Silver, but not a Grey). Rare and classy. It was equal first choice for me, with Lemons Blue. Mike |
