From e90 328XI to Audi A5

I am seriously considering a 2011 Audi A5 and was wondering if any of you already own one and would share your experience...

A little history:

Was planning to buy a new car and wanted to upgrade from my 07 328xi and looked around for 2010 CPO 335xi coupe or newer for around 37K and couldnt find any good car with all options I was looking...broadened my search to find Audi A5...IMO very good looking car..test drove one brand new 2012 Audi A5 over the weekend and was very impressed.
Will be getting married this year so mileage will be big concern which A5 is good with. Finally getting a certified 2011 A5 2.0t Premium plus with 15k Miles for 35K and am pretty close to closing the deal. Just wanted to know your guys take on that.

Thanks.

I drove a 2.0t and a 3.2 when I was last car shopping and I had a 2007 A6 3.2 for a few months. I drove a 335i afterwards and never looked back. The A5 looks good and the interior is a nice place to be but the drive is numb and disconnected IMO. If you haven't driven a 335i yet then you should before you make the final decision between those two cars.

That makes the A5 a really strong contender for you since AWD comes standard and Audi's Quattro system is really good. It'll probably be one of those times where you have to pro and con it to choose what's best for your current situation.

Not sure if it matters much in GA, but don't let anyone tell you the Quattro system is better than x-Drive.

According to this somewhat poorly written blog, BMW's Xdrive system is better than 4matic and Quattro:

Hmmm?

You mean to tell me Quattro, a performance AWD system, is better than X-Drive, an inclement weather AWD system? Please go on.

I would go with the 335xi for sure. It's probably hard to find an xi in georgia though so you might have to travel. A5 looks great but performance wise ehh...

I initially wanted to get a 335xi, however, finding one in SoCal turned out to be an exercise in frustration. Not one dealership I called had one on the lot, and the quickest one could be shipped here was a week and a half. Since I had no car (my prior one was totaled in an accident), waiting wasn't an option for me and I went with what was available- a black 335i a/t with premium package. Every dealership had a ton of 328's but hardly any 335's.

I am very happy with my car -especially after installing the performance suspension and PPK, and if I had to do it over again, I'd forego the awd since it's not really necessary in SoCal. However, next time I am in the market for a new car, I do hope to have the time and luxury of speccing out exactly what I want.

I've owned several 3-series and an Audi before. They are both great cars. I looked hard at a S5 before I bought my 335 and while I liked it, I couldn't get past the fact that it looks like a Camaro. Is it just me that thinks the A5/S5 look like a Camaro?

Fantastic interior though.

I am looking for a coupe now and finding a 335xi in my price is really difficult. I only have few days to decide..will keep looking for a 335 , if I cant find one , I guess it will have to be a A5.
