There is something wrong with the front shock on the left of the last picture. It should not be able to stay compressed like that. Compare it to the other shock. When it is compressed, the shock should rebound right away to full extension. Sorry to call you out on your sales thread but I bought a set with the same issue and it was pita to get fixed. The seller didn't believe there was something wrong, I sent it to KW and there was an internal rupture somewhere.

If you're the original buyer, you can file a warranty claim and pay a small fee to get it repaired by KW. That being said, the asking price IS very low to begin with :P

KW and ST struts are not gas assisted. They are hydraulic. Some rebound a little and other don't rebound at all even when brand new. It's just the way it is. It's a little strange that you can push them in by hand, but again it's perfectly normal.

I'm not saying yours didn't have a problem or that these are good. I'm just saying there is no way to tell if these are damaged from the picture.

I wouldn't want to be riding on a shock that doesn't rebound at all when compressed as shown in the picture showing more or less full compression. I could be wrong and that there's nothing wrong with it. However I had the same exact thing and my seller said they were perfectly fine, but KW said different after sending them in for inspection.

Trust me there's nothing wrong with them. I've jus asked my mechanic and there is nothing wrong with them... It's because the springs are off the shocks. when you compress the springs into the shocks it will rebound
