^love Geneva, so hard not to buy anything when there. Was there over the summer, stayed at the ambassador. Need to make it to SIHH one of these years.

Love love love the new Lange 1 tourbillon as well as the new datograph perpetual. Wish they weren't so much $$$

Been there. Haha. Maybe I'll find out more today (tomorrow for you). We can hope that dealer was wrong. It was a fairly vague reference. We will see though.

Great! Any news would be fantastic! I bet you're having an amazing time out there!

I'm following on Hodinkee and every new post I see, I'm depressed that I did not win the powerball...

So, seems a safe bet that the predictions were right, but they don't have US prices set yet. The European price is €25,900. At current exchange that is about $28,500. So... Yeah... Likely right about in that range.

I cannot resize my photos here, since I didn't bring a "real" computer, but we should start a "watches of SIHH thread. I have some pretty good pictures from a showing with VC. The overseas is even better than I imagined, but I think the sleeper are the ultra thin models with the 1120 movement. If (when) they release them in stainless, they will be absolutely killer. A little pricey in their white hold-only state.

^ based on the pictures that everyone has taken of the new VC overseas design, I much prefer the older design. More classic Gerald genta, while the new movement is cool the price currently does not justify it for me at least.

I agree, you should start a separate SIHH thread.

I've never been a Rolex guy either, but this has pulled me over or the dark side.

The strap is the grail or the watch?
