That would be awesome, but I haven't seen any stock cameras for the e90 on ebay. I trawled through realoem for my car except set to european and didn't see a part number or anything for the original camera parts, so I sorta question who had this as an option.

I have used those before on other projects. I found that over time they tend to fail. The way they splice onto the existing wire makes for a poor connection.

Thanks OP and grzes's wiring diagram; got mine wired up today and everything is working like they should.
The only issue I have is that it seems the response of the camera is a bit slow and the settings won't be remembered after the car restarted. Anyone having this problem? |

Got everything in my car as described in post 1, works perfectly without any problems!
Anybody knows if it's possible to active the camera while driving (forward)? I read it's possible for F Models, can it be done for E Models too? greetings jeezz |

Great guide/s! I'm new to the forum so it is not allowing me to pm yet. I have a couple of questions on the wiring side, I hope someone doesn't mind helping?? So if the White cable from the emulator goes to the red +12v from the camera, the wiring diagram says that the black (-ve) goes to ground? Have I got that wrong as I'm assuming you need the black cable, which comes stuck together with the red cable, to be the negative? So which cable is the ground and which is the negative..? Also the little red cable that is attached to the rca connection at the navi end, is that supposed to link in with something? A reverse pin of some kind??
Many thanks in advance if someone can shed light on it 😄 |

Anyone had their camera view not angled straight ? Mine is quite a bit on the angle. Anyone knows if its possible to adjust the lens inside of the handle ? I got the one from the first post.
TIA |

Just installed mine today,
I purchased the camera + emulator from the link provided in the OP. Wired it up I spliced the red wire attached to the Male RCA to the white wire on the emulator. Which makes it work then grounded the camera in the trunk on one the bolts near rear strut mount. I had messaged the ebay seller for the coding that needed to be done and he told me: 4. Coding Computer Configuration: Configure 3AG coding computer module (FA = VO = configuration) Configure 3AG code CIC and PDC , and modify following items: MACRO_L6_PARKMENU aktiv MACRO_PDC aktiv MACRO_PDC_TOPVIEW aktiv TVC_WIDTH_0C wert_02 So I coded what the OP said + what the seller said it everything works fine. I do not have PDC and this works. |

I'm having a similar issue with no audio is playing, not even FM radio. Do you think this is the solution to my problem?
