I'm glad I stopped in here today. I signed up for the one at Brian Harris for the 328 vs Lexus IS250 thursday, then 328 vs Audi friday at Peake, and 335 saturday at Peake. So what are these drives like? Is there like a little autocross course or something setup so you get to actually beat on the cars?

It's basically a standard car test drive. You drive around for a few minutes with a BMW rep while they talk up (your bash if you're in a competitor car) the vehicle. At least that's how it was when I did it. It might have changed...

I guess I'll find out. Mini cooper and yokohama tires put on a driving event a couple years ago in houston where they brought out 6 or 7 mini's all equipped with different tires from the lineup. paid $20 and ran as many of the cars as many times as you wanted all day. there were driving instructors to ride along and give you pointers if you wanted them to. It was good autocross practice, and a lot of fun. From what you're saying, it doesn't seem like this will be the same, but I might get a chance to scare a couple salesman. that'll make it worth it.

What time is your drive with the 335 at Peake? Mines at 130. Will I see you there?

Was having a great time at the French Quarter Festival in NOLA until some POS DB decided to smash my passenger side rear window.
Gouged a large hunk out of the upholstery and dented up all the trim around the window. Also tried to break the passenger side front window but was unsuccessful although they did chip the glass and dent the trim around that window. And I was parked in a hotel parking garage. Going into the BH body shop next week. I'll be in some 4 cylinder POS rental for two weeks. I'll post pics later. BTW, BH BMW has a 335is on the Airline Hwy lot if anyone is interested.

Damn doc, sorry to hear that...

My wheels are finished! Andy at MORR sent me this picture today, they look so good I can't wait to get them back on. Hopefully I will have them by the end of next week.

I wish I would have known you were coming to the quarter. We have a gated and enclosed parking garage that fits 20 cars at my aunts office on bienville that I would have let you use. I hate the french quarter for that reason. Next time doc shoot me a text and I'll give you the code to the garage.

Holy crap that F10 M5 wreck on the front page. Really a testament of safety right there, and that F10 is a HOSS.

186mph to zero in a matter of 100 yards including multiple flips side to side barrier to embankment collisions etc. etc. An entire section + wheel of the rear suspension was ripped off. I hope they have a good recovery

Thanks man, but I'm looking for the BMW gloss grilles, not the matte ones. Know of any place to get those?

I personally think the matte ones look better, but each to his own. Here is OEM gloss ones, won't find anything cheaper on OEM grills.

werd, thanks man. Just placed my order. on my graphite car, I think the gloss grilles will look better. should look good with the recently blacked out windows, and black miro 111's that will be on the way soon. Ordering these emblems, and a front aero lip as well.

Coulda bought my wheels. instead of ordering some...Would definitely sell for the right price. IMO the 111s don't look good on e90 - e92 at all...Cant wait to see it though.

from the pics I've seen, in black they look badass. got wheels on the way, black emblems, grilles, and aero lip. after that, i'm calling it done and focusing on my race car.
