I was waiting to see you coming the other way and Paddy waving from a field .
Did you see those pheasents on Sunday? A quick twitch of the wheel and we could have had a nice spot of lunch!

Lessons I've learnt from not going to UK3
1. It sounds like you're all a bunch of nutters. 2. My car would have serious trouble keeping up. I know the racing line, but perhaps haven't had the track experience JonMad has had.

Nothing crazy went on, just found some nice roads. Golden rule and stating the bleeding obvious, only go as fast as being able to stop in the distance you see is clear. Including when we had a tractor coming the other way and a motorbike on the left parked up. Though the equipment at your disposal (namely ABS) allows you to be faster whilst still not taking liberties. I've had some fun on road tuition as well where you learn all about visibility and road positioning. Well recommended.
Cheers for posting the larger version of the pic Simon. Note, it rolls less now. Here's some more fun where conditions allow: http://www.evoposters.net/carpics/Jo..._0224_edit.wmv |

Things I learned:
1. Make sure Beauforty is awake before you agree to a 2+ hour car ride to the middle of the country. (Nearly getting smoked by a 206 out of the train station parking lot is NOT a good way to start the day) 2. Brits & Canadians DO have a LOT in common. Makes for great conversation on said 2+ hour car rides. 3. Do not assume that the old codger in a E90 IS IN FACT coming to the meet, and egg him on on the motorway. 4. (While riding shotgun) Give the impression you're scared shitless by the incredible speed and utter lack of regard for safety while passing on blind corner country roads; but secretly, wish you could be the one driving 5. Don't trust the SAT-NAV; at least not in Simon's car, it always wanted back on the M4 6. Make every effort possible to attend any future UK E90 meets if/when in the country

Another one that just struck me:
Follow Paul and Paddy for a couple of days and you'll knock 1000miles of your distance to the next service in less than 400 miles
