On my way to the Kelly Jones gig in York on Monday I saw an E93 for the first time on the road. A black with coral red leather, roof down on the A1/M link. Looked very nice in the early evening sunshine. I could be tempted...
Congrats on the new motor. Looking forward to pics.

Looking good! I like the piano black trim. I had this in my RX8...looks great, but a pain to keep dust free! Enjoy.

Congrats, you must be very happy.
After a lot of F@?"ing about mine is finally due at the dealer tomorrow. I probably won't pick it up till Friday as I haven't got much time tomorrow and don't want to rush the handover. Miopyk |

York Opera House! We were 3 rows from the stage and he played his entire solo album, 'Only The Names Have Been Changed' with a 3 piece string backing and a guy on guitar/keyboard. Then a selection of Stereophonics songs...just him & guitar. (Stereophonics new album soon and an arena tour to accompany)... Absolutely amazing evening and a great drive back on a very quiet A64 and motorways.

It's between the arm rest and the I-Drive controller. You can just see it in this picture. I'll take a better one tomorrow

It's not too bad. I got in a bit of a tangle first time but second time, no problem. It folds neatly in half and then in half again and goes in a bag. I'll take some pics over the weekend.

The top of the windscreen pillar looks quite narrow (the bit where the roof locks to the screen) - compared with my old Z4. I think BMW have raised the game again with such a cleverly designed car.

It is a magnificent piece of engineering. Watching the roof open and close is poetry in motion. With the roof down there is no 'scuttle shake' (and trust me, the roads on the Isle of Wight are appalling) and with the roof up you would never know that it was a drop top. It's an absolute dream to drive.
