BMW dealer - Service issues - who to call

I have been having problems with my dealer on an issue with leak for some time now. The oil leak began immediately after a service with them. They said they did a thorough check and the leak is not related. As a result I am paying a large amount of money after they diagnosed the problem twice. I signed the estimate for the charge. They have now called and said the problem may be worse. My question is this, is my only recourse dealing with them directly or do I have to call BMW Canada. Better yet, if it gets really bad, is there an association that I can call to support me, maybe even BBB. Plesae help, I don't want to go down this road but feel that I am getting totally screwed. I am assumimg they can't charge me more than what I signed for if repaired already and I did not authorize anything further.

thanks in advance for help.

Go to another dealer...

Just a wide guess, is this BMW Autohaus you are having issues?

Ouchie....another bash your local dealer thread....

You should make an appointment to speak with the service manager and sort this out before you frustrate yourself trying to explain your situation over the phone to someone who couldn't give a rats a$$ on the other end of the phone.

It sounds like you're out of factory warranty so if you take it to anyother shop, you'll have to pay again for diagnosis.

Post up more detailed facts of your situation. Have your facts in order before you speak with the manager. Maybe you had 2 leaks and they missed it when they fixed the first one??

Hope this helps. Good luck.
