Front and rear brake pad warning overnight

Hi,

This morning when I started my '07 e91 330d (a bit chilly, 17 degrees fahrenheit), it threw the red service light and a brake warning light. Checked vehicle service requirements, and for some reason front and rear pads just decided to need a change (----- remaining), overnight.

Changed the rear pads 10k miles ago and the front pads 6k miles ago, including the brake wear indicators, and I checked service status a couple of days ago and saw more than 20k miles on both front and rear pads.

I haven't tried to reset service for the pads, as I know this can cause the car to "lock" the service reset until sensors are replaced, which I don't think I can as the pads has got a few miles on them.

If it's possible to reset the remaining miles using NCSexpert, that would also be an option for me, as I've got all the right equipment for this job.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
