Pls confirm RE IKON will NOT void warranty!

Hi all,

I have an RE IKON exhaust on my E90 330i, I'm concerned about warranty. Looking at the RE site, it states it "maintains bmw factory warranty". Can anybody confirm this is the case? http://www.rogueengineering.com/Merc...Code=RE_E90_EX

IKON Features
Just because the IKON exhaust system is easy on the wallet does not mean you are getting short changed. Features of the RE E90 IKON system include:

Available beginning August 2006.
Only $550 MSRP (estimated)
100% T-304 stainless steel construction, including flanges, internals
Mill-finished pipes and muffler, mirror polished dual 3" straight cut, staggered tips.
Entire exhaust utilizes TIG welded construction
Deep tone (stock resonators are retained) with no drone
Maintains BMW factory warranty

I think so..I have it on when I have my transmission worked under the warranty. Not sure if an engine issue though.

I think they only way they can take away the warranty is if they can prove that your exhaust is what caused a problem with whatever they find. Good luck!

How can a muffler possibly void the warranty on your car? If you ever have a problem with the dealer, bring your car to another one because that one is filled with idiots.
