Read this thread, contact HansWurst for more information.
https://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31885 In your MEVD17.HIS file, search for the PPK zusb number associated with your vehicle configuration. This number is in the first post of the thread above. The .HIS file is a history of all zusb numbers and their respective updates in the following format: oldzusb, newzusb To find the most recent zusb appropriate for your car, do the following order of operations: 1. Ctrl+f oldzusb Find: oldzusb, newzusb 2. Copy newzusb 3. Ctrl+f newzusb Find: newzusb,newzusb2 4. Copy newzusb2 5. Ctrl+f newzusb2 Find: newzusb2,newzusb3 .... Find: newzusbx, newzusbfinal - Copy newzusbfinal - Cannot find a second newzusbfinal. This is your most recent zusb number for PPK. In other words, keep searching updated zusb numbers until no updated zusb numbers surpass the last updated zusb number that you found. If you manually decide to do this, be very careful that you copy zusb numbers precisely. You don't want to accidentally flash the wrong code to your DME. Perform the exercise twice just to be sure, and paste each update in order in a separate notepad so you can trace it easily. You could make a quick python script to do this for you if you wanted. That way there's no human error. Last edited by Welcome to NBA Jam; 01-11-2019 at 11:48 PM.. |

Unless you already have the hardware to install the PPK, I would just go with MHD.
On my AT, 2011 335i, the PPK would register at a little less than 12 psi. A definite improvement over the stock settings. But (without going overly aggressive) the MHD stage 3 and XHP (for the transmission) is next level, for the 335i.
