There was one report of mice chewing up the Most Bus
Wires. Something you would never suspect.

Any help is much appreciated
Didn't plug in a particular wire when switching to Avin unit.

Hi guys,

So I went back there today to check things out and everything appeared to be normal. Connections all looked good, no water back there or anything out of place... Here are pics of my setup.

After reseating all connections the problem is still persisting. Any more ideas for tests to run?

I just had exactly same issue. i bought an E90 and bluetooth, aux, usb and voic control wasnt working. It ended up being that the MOST connector right next to bluetooth antenna was unplugged. So take that panel off from under the steering wheel and see if your's is plugged in.

Ok this may help some people potentially, I have recently added a retrofit cigarette lighter where there was just a hole below glove box, had the bottom of the glove box off a few times to do this.
Yesterday I noticed that the 'External devices' USB and Bluetooth streaming weren't lit up (not selectable) also when I presses the telephone button on Idrive the screen kept just trying to load. Despite a reset, (holding down on/off button on Idrive for 20 seconds nothing changed.

This morning I dropped the bottom of the glove box again and noticed I didn't reconnect this connector. All is now well and working again. Still don't know what it is but fixed :-)

Just to help others. Found the same issue in my e90 m3 and same symptoms as people have said here. My issue was that this plug somehow came loose from behind my nav/radio unit. Plug back in and everything was back to normal. Hopefully that helps others with this issue.

Sorry to drag up an old post. Just posting this in case anyone else has this issue and can’t find a fix. Aux/Bluetooth/USB/SOS were not working on my 2011 328xi BMW Professional radio for the last year and was killing/annoying me.

All the MOST loop connections were connected and no burnt fuses. I checked the MOST loop at the connections by the ODB and in trunk but, it was completely dead everywhere. Pulled the head unit out and pressed the clips to pull the MOST cables off the head unit harness. Plugged the harness into the head unit and used a mirror to see if any light was coming out of the MOST port on the back of it when powered on. There was no optic light coming out of the head unit MOST port. Bought a used head unit off ebay with the same exact part# and installed it. At first AUX/USB didn’t show up but, after being on a few minutes everything started working like it should and was able to pair my iPhone. $75 used head unit on eBay fixed the no AUX/Bluetooth/USB problem I had. Everything other than Aux/Bluetooth/USB was working fine on the old head unit so I didn’t suspect it was the head unit.

BMW e93 Combox “please wait”

Hi so I’ve got a bmw e93 2013, has Satnav Bluetooth etc.
in arm rest the cigarette port works but aux and usb doesn’t work as well as Bluetooth. It says “please wait” when I select on it and lasts a very long time

The car when I check the loop under the glovebox there’s no red light in the fibre cable where as when I check the fibre cable by the combox in the boot it flashes red and I’m guessing it’s working. Anyone know any solutions ?

so you have similar issue, the most connector sometime loose from radio/navi unit, thats why you do not see any light from it here

Thank you for replying, do you know where I’d find the connectors?
