Also, what are the gains that I'm going to lose by going catted? Sound isn't a HUGE deal for me. I'd like to have a mean sounding car, but I can always deal. In terms of power, though, is it a small difference or a large one?
ONE DAY A YEAR?!

Be glad youre not a girl and have to deal with shit 12 times a year that we hate.

Hahaha! Well I've spent my mod allowance on a JB4 and CP, so maybe by the time I'm ready to make a DP purchase, they will have a CEL delete. Then I should only need to have a "back-to-stock" day when I need warranty work.

From my own personal experience switching from stock to catted dp, I noticed better throttle response, faster turbo spool, and of course a mean aggressive sound. I don't know the specific hp gains that come with it, but it definitely improves everyday driving and also just has amazing sound. I think it sounds wonderful with the stock N55 exhaust, but I did pair it up with the BMW PE which I just installed last weekend and it is a symphony. Most videos, even my own, fail to capture the distinct pops, gurgles, and turbo spool that enhance the sound throughout the RPM range and the reason is that most cameras mics are not sensitive enough. The best way is to actually hear it in person.
