So what's a general price someone would charge to swap out an E90 with the following? Ballpark figures of course. I have a friend living in Texas who was quoted $1,600 for the same set-up that I'm going for:

Front sway bar - 31352283515

Front lower wishbone/control arm (L) - 31102283577

Front lower wishbone/control arm (R) - 31102283578

Xenon regulation rod - 37142283867

Front tension strut (L) - 31102283575

Front tension strut (R) - 31102283576

Rear sway bar - 33552283655)

Rear subframe bushings - (front, 2X) - 33312283382)
- (rear, 2X) - 33312283383)

Rear guide rod (L) - 33322283547

Rear guide rod (R) - 33322283548

Rear upper link/wishbone (L) - 33322283545

Rear upper link/wishbone (R) - 33322283546

ABS sensor bracket - 34522283017

Adjustable sway bar end links - (Front)

Do you have time & space to DIY?

Don't forget the alignment.

Yes I have a couple of friends with a shop who can help me. I'm trying to get a ballpark figure more for him as he's down in Texas. That $1600 is way too much and I told him to hold off for a bit.

Experienced labor skilled in BMW suspension replacement's hard to find! Price might be market, though the whole job can be done in a day for anyone w/lift, tools; has done it before.

That last part's real important.

It sounds like a lot but it really is't. The subframe bushings are the hardest part. I would be surprised if you could get it done for less than 1K.

Received a quote from a high end speed shop to do many of the things that you are doing. I have since decided to start with just LSD, M3 Rear Subframe Bushings, and M3 E93 Front and Rear Sway bars, but here is what I had for labor quotes for much of the other stuff.

Sorry but this seems to be a bit apples and oranges since they bundled some of the costs.

1. With discount, to remove current springs/dampers and install a new TC Kline kit and the front and rear M3 control arms, $1,150 (10 hours)

2. Rear Subframe bushings, old out, new in, $750 (6 hours)

3. They did not separately itemize the sway labor, so it was probably part of #1 of #2 (or maybe a payment time surprise for me). They told me the rear was 3 hours and the front was one hour. In my reduced scope quote this labor was $460.

So, it sounds like you guys are getting it done at a much more modest labor rate and/or the labor hours quoted me are too high.

Guys, I just realized that while I have the front and rear M3 sway bars, I don't have the bushings or brackets for them. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm assuming that I'll need 2 of each of the following parts listed below:

FRONT

31352283516 - Rubber bushing, antiroll bar, bottom
31352283517 - Rubber bushing, antiroll bar, top
31352283037 - Stabilizer support

REAR

33552283709 - Rubber bushing, antiroll bar, bottom
33552283710 - Rubber bushing, antiroll bar, top
33552283714 - Stabilizer support

Looks right....those rear mounts take a bit o'thought to get right.

I can do most of it. Not sure about the subframe part though.

P.S. a bit of thought...as in it's tricky and tough?

I now pretty much have all of the M3 suspension parts to do the swap on my 2009 335d. Will I also need bolts and screws for the wish bones, guide rods, tension struts, sway bars, and subframe bushings? All I have for these are solely the parts pieces that I bought.

Could I use the existing nuts, bolts etc that are currently on my car?

Thanks.

Fully done man back in March. Doing adjustable camber plates and M3 strut brace kit this weekend as well. Should have done it all in one shot but didn't quite work out that way for one reason or another.
