you could sort of do that. if it's a hot day and you want your windows down, set it to a lower temp when it's 20-25c outside.

the DME controls it already, I just have to change the values to something else.

I want to try running it at 88-90c on the dyno to see if it makes any difference.

there is some sort of load factor that could be adjusted as well for the eco/standard/high load modes. I think the High+Map is just a mistranslation, but I don't know what the "KFT" acronym means.

btw, the eco mode is actually 106/112c.

I know it is DME controlled, but based on load conditions, are you talking about controlling it by coding or some other way?

I think my thermostat is either not able to close, or close properly. So the coolant temp stays around 79 - 84 degrees Celsius no matter what the outside temperature is or the type of driving. It does at random briefly climb to the mid to upper 90's, but then almost immediately drops right back done to the 80's.

you have to flash the DME to change it. the different thresholds are controlled by some sort of load, but there is also an ambient temp axis on the 95c and 80c maps that you can play with.

Okay, makes sense, so basically a custom tune, or can be part of a custom tune.

Hi.
Currently I have E90 | 325i| 2009 lci.N52 Engine.
The fan is always working silently with low speed. Do you think this is normal? The temp the car is around 85 C. There is no noisy fan sound. It just seems to be working with a low speed all the time. I would appreciate if you could tell me if its normal or not.
