How often...
How often should one wax with a machine like a PC or flex?
if it bad to do it say, once a week? will the clear coat start thinning?

it's hard to burn with a PC or flex
just wax as often as you see your wax is gone by putting water on it to see if it beads |

my wax never lasted long so (I'm not going to) but it's safe to wax everyday? if I'm correct only polish "cuts" off the clearcoat?

i think you should invest in a better wax if yours doesn't last that long then lol my wax lasts at least 2-3 months each application |

If you get the right sealant, that can last months and look nearly as good as wax. Any wax should be lasting you 3-6+ weeks though.
I've never heard of waxing using the PC/Flex? Always just done it by hand, it goes quickly enough.

i apply wax with a machine then just buff it off with a mf towel, although you should try zaino z2 or something it last a good 4-6 months, I personally don't use it, but when i do detailing jobs most people request it just because it last so long..

With a blue pad and a wax, it would take a very very very long time to burn through your clearcoat. That said, I couldn't imagine having to wax my car multiple times per week. My Tropicare sealant lasts 3-6 months and that is without any wax on top of the sealant.
