My e91 330i

After nearly 7 months of searching for a good 3.0 e91 the wait finally paid off.

I'm now the happy owner of this good looking wagon! Thanks to another forum member replying to one of my many adverts looking for a 3.0 tourer.

First mod was the performance grills because i've never been a fan of the standard ones.

Not too much planned for this car at the moment, it came with the performance exhaust already fitted and isn't in need of any attention apart from going out for a blast.

Things thats I will probably do over the next year will be.

.New tyres and alloy refurb to maybe a shadow chrome
.Performance handbrake & gear sleeve
.White angel eyes
.Led interior lights
.Possibly a suspension refresh so I can enjoy it for as long as possible

Looking good. Nice to see the old girl.

I was across your way today. Have given the M3 a good clean & whilst nice not as well looked after as your touring at half the age/miles.

Enjoy.

Thanks, I must admit it was by far the easiest clean of a new car I have ever had.

You've dropped on there mate! Cracking car. I remember you saying you were looking for one.

Mind me asking where you found it? Great engine and being an lci, that's spot on.

I got very lucky and a forum member from here Pm'd me after seeing one of my wanted posts, and a couple of months later I got first offer and snapped it up.

So glad I waited because it was worth it.

That's really nice, great colour combo. So nice to see other interiors that aren't black.

Quick up date.

After a lot of hassle from what should be an easy job fitting performance gaiters for the handbrake and gear stick it is finally done

And this is the culprit for all the hassle ..... a silly bit of extra glue that shouldn't be there

(No more photo ..... Thank you Photobucket........)

They barely exist on my side of the pond. Perfect car this. Not an option for me, too many km everyday...

Will you change the roof rails to 2010+ ones?

To be honest I hadn't even realised it had the older style haha

But when I was washing it the other day it did cross my mind about removing them completely, I will need a set of roof racks at some point and would rather fix them to the slots in the roof rather to the presstine rails.

Until then they will be staying put I think.

Nice update for today.

One of my gripes with the e91 was the cheap carpet that BMW decided to put on the tailgate. After all most people use a tourer for its boot (carting the dog about, going the dump) And it Happens to be the only part that isn't covered by a boot mat.

So mine has now been reupholstered in easy to clean Leather, problem solved!

Just looks nicer than greyish carpet lol.

I think that the split arm rest is an optional extra, looked on auto trader and some do and some don't have it.
