I have one, but it's only a 325i.
Even in Norway 6-cylinder E91 with MT is rare as hens teeth. I was planning to import one from Germany before I found one in Norway. The dealer dumped the price because he thought that nobody would buy aa 325i with MT.

I have an M-tech Wagon but its AWD since no RWD were available in Canada. Anyways someone once ran my vin and gave me this info.

2009-2012 BMW 328xi Touring (UU33) - 122 NA painted in Black Sapphire Metallic with Black Dakota Leather interior were built for the Canadian market. 25 are manual (5 of them are M Sport), 97 are automatic (none are M Sport)

170 were built for the US market. 27 are manual (7 are M Sport), 143 are automatic (18 are M Sport).

I'm almost positive that it's more common to find an E63 M6 in a 6-speed than an e91 rwd in manual. They're both in the low 400's from a production number standpoint. I think if bmw offered the 35i in the e91 we would see more manuals but ahh well.

I looked long and hard before I found my E91 manual. It is an Xi bit I still enjoy it.

I've seen two come up for sale in lthe last two weeks. Both sold the day they were listed.

The number seems low, but the E91 wagon body style was never popular in the US, so it may be accurate.

There must have been attrition over the last 11 years so the number surviving examples in the US is probably less than 400.

Since BMW slammed the door shut on MT wagons and SUVs in the US - if I sold mine, what could I replace it with?

That alone probably decreases the number that come on the market.

Not sure what I'll do when its time to replace and there just aren't any MT options from bmw... switch to audi? buy a new wagon and buy an MT out of a wrecked sedan and swap it over?

I'd agree that this price is high, but not crazy...there was an e91 6MT RWD mSport (the true unicorn!) in this same (desirable) color combo that went for ~$17k on Bring a Trailer about a year ago, but it was a little rough & had accident history. This one has a ton of nice mods, that I guess the owner hopes will bring a premium.

For reference, I bought my e91 6MT RWD a year ago for ~$16k, & I think that was a fair price considering the supply on the market.

Let me know if you see one for $12k...I'll buy 2 more & put them in storage at that price!!!

Considering the rarity of a manual e91, it would be worth converting one over. It's not as bad as you think, and used parts have become very cheap. You could probably buy an auto and convert it to manual for cheaper than you could buy the manual in the first place.

I'm about an hour from Greensboro. Do you have any photos of your e91?

428 "i" + 1 "!"

Yes, mine is a 328!, and BMW built it that way. I have pictures from the turntable at BMW Welt that show the upside-down i.

Someone recently sold 6MT, RWD, Sport for $9.5k on here. There wasn't exactly a bidding war, but it sold quickly.

I believe BAT brings what the enthusiast market is willing to pay, which I think is above the overall market - if you believe in market segmentation.

Black wheels and anything non OEM = discount, not premium. I appreciate what the owner did, but I wouldn't appreciate it with my wallet and neither would 99% of the market.

Since this pics, I've tinted her & I'm also considering switching out the front & rear bumpers for mSports.
