Nav TV has a MOST adapter for hu replacement in Cayenne. It doesn't fade F/R and you lose your EQ. BMW is harder than Porsche. But someday.

Just to clarify what is in "3 days". Trent with CarAudioCraze informed me that he expects units to ship from China on 2-10-11 and he expects them on or around 2-15 to arrive at his facility. From there the group buy gets free ground shipping, which could be up to 4 days if you're on the West Coast.

Right, order finalized but units aren't shipping out to group buy buyers on the 10th, but rather from China to CarAudioCraze. From his earlier posts I thought his shipping on the 10th meant that units will be shipping to group buyers on the 10th. Thought the clarification was worth noting because if other buyers are like me, you hate waiting for stuff!

L7 has a fiber optic connection between the Head Unit and Amp. The signals are in a proprietary format so the L7 amp only works with the BMW Head unit fiberoptic signal
This has long been a problem with retrofitting head units to this system. There are some expensive fixes, but most people just put in new amps and processors and speakers if they go down this route.
There are also other side effects with putting an aftermarket unit that have already been mentioned on this board.
