Double tap the unlock button........
.......on the key and the windows half open when you open the doors! A feature I only found the other day although I've noticed before occasionally the windows half opened when I opened the doors and did wonder why. Not sure of the purpose really

Comfort entry, with the windows half down it makes getting in easier, press & hold for the windows to go all the way down.

Yeah I knew about the press and hold the lock and unlock buttons to make the windows go up and down. I've used that for like you say making it easier to get in and out of the car in tight spaces.

Interesting.
I wonder was it available on earlier BMWs too? When I had my e46 I used to find that the windows would sometimes start to roll down when I unlocked the car, but I just thought the electrics were fucked... |
