Bulb warning light issue please help!!

Hi all,

I am getting the bulb warning light flash up 3 times when I start up my 2007 Alpina D3 Saloon and I can’t get rid of it! All the bulbs are working fine?

It comes up with the codes CC-ID 134 and 136 which looking it up appears to be the left and right brake lights but I can’t see any of the bulbs gone! I have had the bulb holders out and someone press the brakes and they are fine?

Any ideas please? It’s driving me mad!

Thanks

My E91 2010 was throwing an intermittent right tail light failure. Always from a cold start but the warning would vanish as quickly as it came. I changed the bulbs which were working and it sorted it. Has yours had non standard bulbs/lights fitted?

No mate haven’t touched it! I have bought four new genuine bulbs so hoping that will sort it!

Check the common (0volts) connection.
On the e46, the spade connector got very hot and eventually created a poor connection. (A lot of bulbs with only one earth).
This gave rise to all sorts of fault indications.
