I tried the less expensive Rein CTA0033 from RockAuto, but it started throwing the 2ef7 code (map thermostat, activation or thermostat, control) after only 6 months on the car. I went back to the Mahle TM1497 that can be had for around $55-$65 from various sources, that has provided much longer operating durations before electrical failure.
