Purchased a AA exhaust for my 2008 328i. I have an N51. The attachment point is oval. But it needs to be round. Any ideas? Is there an adapter? Do I need to remove more if my exhaust and have a circular pipe welded in? Searched through the forum for a bit. Didn't find anything that helped with fitment. Called AA today and was told it was an easy fix. But how?

So your stock pipe is oval in shape at the point where your supposed to cut it?

yes, for some reason bmw decided to do this with the N51 engine
